Hairstyles of Mothers and Their Daughters

For this year’s Mother’s Day we questioned whether celebrity mother-daughter pairs wear similar hairstyles or if their daughters prefer to venture out and find their own style. Check out the celebrity mother-daughter pairs we love in our gallery - do mothers inspire the hair choices of their daughters?
Mother’s Day is held on 30th March and is a day to celebrate and honour mothers, grandmothers and other mothering figures in your life. People tend to treat their mothers by taking them out and showering them with gifts and love.
With this in mind, we wanted to explore the bond between a mother and a daughter. “Like mother, like daughter!” is a well-known saying and many daughters will roll their eyes when they hear the expression. The connection between a mother and daughter often amazes people with many not only having inherited features but also a similar lifestyle and taste. On first look, it may appear that mothers and daughters prefer different hairstyles. However, on second look, you will almost always see more similarities than differences.
Hairstyles of Kate Beckingsale, Her Daughter and Other Celebrity Mother-Daughter Pairs
Kate Beckingsale and her daughter Lily in the photo above, have similar brown hair but Kate’s hair has been styled in a ponytail with voluminous, large curls while her daughter’s hair is in a neat chignon. The hairstyles could not be any more different but both are updo styles with elegance and style.
In our next photo, Kelly Osbourne and her mother Sharon wear their hair in different colours and styles. Kelly’s hair has been dyed grey with a lavender tinge while Sharon’s hair is dark with a reddish hint. The hair colours and styles are very different but both women seem to like colouring their hair in striking shades.
